Betydning
Chauhan is a Hindu Rajput clan that ruled various parts of northern India and Pakistan during the medieval period. The name Chauhan originated from the Sanskrit word 'Caturjati', meaning 'four kinds of people'. It is believed that the Chauhans descended from the Pandavas and Kauravas of the Mahabharata epic. The Chauhan dynasty was known for their bravery and chivalry, and many of their rulers were famous for their military conquests and cultural patronage.
