Can I upload .ods files directly?

Not at this time. We support CSV and Excel (.xlsx, .xls) formats. Saving as .xlsx is the quickest way to compatbility.

Will formatting be preserved?

Most basic formatting is preserved when round-tripping through Excel format. However, complex OpenOffice-specific features might be affected.
