What happens if I lose the device with my passkey?

If you lose a device with your passkey, don't worry - your account is still secure and accessible. You can always sign in using your password (and 2FA if enabled). If your passkeys are synced via iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager, they will automatically be available on your other devices signed into the same account. For optimal security, we recommend: setting up passkeys on multiple devices, keeping your password as a backup, and enabling 2FA as an additional security layer. You can also manage your passkeys in your account settings to remove a lost device's passkey and prevent any potential unauthorized access.
